On Saturday May 17, PNC Bank, St. Mary's Athletic Association and The Jersey Shore Running Club will present the 5th Annual PNC Bank Spring Into Summer 5K. All proceeds from this event benefit the Monsignor Bulman Stadium Fund, dedicated to improving the athletic facilities of Mater Dei High School. In addition to the 5K, there is a 1 Mile run/walk as well as a series of races for kids ages 4-12. See the Schedule of Events for more details.
At the Spring Into Summer 5K we want to create a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all participants. Prior to the races enjoy a variety of music provided by our DJ Mike Finnegan and join in a group warmup conducted by certified personal trainer Julia Marrone. A race program, bags full of goodies and 100% cotton t-shirts are guaranteed to all early registrants (while supplies last to late registrants). Electronic timing services provided by Elite Racing Systems. Trophies and awards to the top 3 men and women in the 5K and 1 Mile, as well as trophies to the 1st male and female finishers in each 10 year age group. And when the running's done, satisfy the appetite you've worked up with our post-race barbecue. All runners and their families are invited! The Spring Into Summer 5K gives you exposure to the parish of St. Mary Church, the Township of Middletown and the Shore area running community. We offer a variety of Sponsorship Opportunities to meet your budget and marketing goals. Advertise in our race program! Have your logo on our t-shirts! Hang a banner along the course!
